Greater Atlanta Farmers Markets

farmers market

Fresh fruits and vegetables are ever-abundant in the south, particulary in the mega-neighborhood we call Greater Atlanta. One of the best sources of direct farm-to-home produce are the dozens of farmers’ markets spread throughout Greater Atlanta. We’ve put together a list of some of the best Farmers Markets to visit – let us know which are your favorite!

Visit one, or visit them all!

BUFORD HIGHWAY FARMER’S MARKET

This is one of my personal favorites – the Buford Highway Farmer’s Market combines the fresh products of a farmers’ market with the advantage of air conditioning, along with an extra bonus. The Buford Market is well known for a massive selection of exotic produce and name-brand treats from all corners of the world, along with a large seafood department not common in the south. This fine establishment has been serving ethnic foods for over three decades, in quantities unsurpassed by any other markets or grocery stores in the entire city.

The Buford Market is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Daily!

Considered Atlanta’s specialty farmer’s market and international cuisine experience, the Buford Highway Farmer’s Market is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
